This year on August 13, 14 and 15 the second Aruba Rembrandt Regatta will take place on Aruba, three days of action and competition for yachts, beachcats, sunfishes, windsurfers and kitesurfers; three evenings of music and parties for all participants and spectators.
Cafe Rembrandt is proud to announce that it has teamed up with the organizing committee of the Aruba Regatta to organize this spectacular event. The organization is in full preparation in cooperation with the sponsors and the Dutch Marines – Boatplatoon – CARIB to make this second annual regatta even bigger and better than last year’s regatta.
Prices
- - Yachts: USD 100, 4 goodie bags + dinner/lunch/drinks tickets for 4 participants.
- - Sunfish: USD 25, 1 goodie bag + dinner/lunch/drinks tickets for 1 participants.
- - Beachcat: USD 50, 2 goodie bags + dinner/lunch/drinks tickets for 2 participants.
- - Windsurf: USD 25, 1 goodie bag + dinner/lunch/drinks tickets for 1 participants.
- - Kitesurf: USD 25, 1 goodie bag + dinner//lunch/drinks tickets for 1 participants.
- Participants under 18 pay USD 20

ALL PARTICIPANTS:
- On Saturday and Sunday Cafe Rembrandt will provide FREE lunches for all participants. Yachts will receive their Saturday lunchboxes on Friday Aug 13, 6 pm. All other participants will get their lunch on the beach! Sunday lunches for yachts will be delivered on the water around 1 pm.
- On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings there will be a shuttle bus available between Oranjestad and the Regatta Locations. Ask for more details at the Regatta Registration.
YACHTS:
- Mount Gay Rum has installed a Challenge Cup for the Line Honours of the Around Aruba Race. This very special wooden cup will be awarded at the Beach Party on Eagle Beach and will contain… FIVE liters of Mount Gay Rum!
- Courses and Sailing Instructions will be available upon registration.
SUNFISH/BEACHCAT:
- You can leave your sailing gear on the beach during the night between the two regatta days. Guards will be present.
SWIMMING COMPETITION:
- On Saturday Aug 14 there will be a 1k and 2k swimming competition @ Eagle Beach at 5 pm to freshen up after a day’s racing. Register on Thursday Aug 12 between 5 and 6 pm in Cafe Rembrandt. Participation costs only Afl. 10!
BEACH PARTY:
- On Saturday Aug 14 there will be a live performance by Earplugs on the regatta site @ Eagle Beach, followed by DJ Jeroen for a real beachparty!
BAR, RESTAURANT and ICE CREAM:
- On Saturday, Aug 14 and Sunday, Aug 15 the bar, restaurant and ice cream parlour will be open as of 10 am. Tents will provide shade for participants and spectators, the bar will provide cool Polar, Mount Gay mixes and other refreshments, the restaurant has great snacks and of course: Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to cool down!
